Indeed. Both sides are enablers for abuse of power.

No. The problem is not that Democrats didn’t meet your standard of purity (a fantasy, no disrespect), the problem is that we are losing elections, the privilege of governance, the ability to select judges, set policy, and so on. The underlying problem to winning elections is that we’ve subordinated core liberal values (the environment, gun control, women’s choice, smart regulation, all supported by a majority of the country) to deeply unpopular cultural issues that are firmly on the wrong side of 70-30 middle America. It’s that simple. Also not helpful: the extreme narcissism of key individuals within the party (think Biden, RBG) and the left’s habit of labeling, dismissing, and sneering at the majority of the country

Democracy has some inherent flaws in it that are built-in. They are a 'feature' and not a 'bug'.

However, they are not always easy to detect until a major crisis happens across most (if not all) of them.

Enter the 2020s...

There is no political solution. Both sides are controlled by AIPAC. We live in the Disunited States of Israel. It’s always been the jews in control but their mainstream media keeps it hidden.

Beautifully summed up and spot on. They are two sides of the same coin but with different flavours. Same here in Australia where one side of the Uniparty basically threw the recent election so the other side could keep on doing it's thing without too many of those pesky independents. Some of whom are certainly not actually independent given their adherence to the climate agenda so who knows, maybe we really can't win with the current political system. One of the things I like about your work is that you also focus on inner work and how we can change the world by changing ourselves. Ultimately I think that is the way forward but at the same time we need to see what is really going on and call it out. Thank you for the work that you are doing. (-:

Hyper nationalism? LOL. I remember as a small kid, visiting Seattle and every square inch of open space was plastered with an American flag.

My favorite was the phone book which doubled as an American history book.
